Noise Decibel Meter is a free, browser-based sound level measurement tool. It uses your device's microphone and the Web Audio API to estimate sound pressure levels in decibels. The Service is provided free of charge and requires no registration.
3. Accuracy and limitations
The Service provides approximate decibel readings suitable for everyday informational use. Measurements may vary depending on your device's microphone hardware, browser, and acoustic environment. The Service is not a substitute for certified professional equipment — do not rely on it for legally required occupational noise assessments (e.g., OSHA, ISO 61672 compliance).
4. Permitted use
You may use the Service for lawful personal and commercial informational purposes. You agree not to: reverse-engineer or scrape the Service; use the Service in violation of applicable laws; or misrepresent readings from this tool as certified professional measurements.
5. Intellectual property
All content, design, and code comprising the Service are the property of Noise Decibel Meter and protected by applicable intellectual property laws. You may not copy, reproduce, or redistribute without prior written permission.
6. Disclaimer of warranties
The Service is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, including accuracy, fitness for a particular purpose, or uninterrupted availability.
